Advanced Equity Management Inc. is a kitchen and flooring installation company based in North Hollywood. We are not a franchise and we are not a lead-generation website that sells your phone number to three strangers.
The people who quote it are the people who install it.
Most of what goes wrong in a kitchen or flooring job goes wrong in the handoff — the salesman promises one thing, a subcontractor nobody has met shows up and does another, and by the time you notice, everybody has been paid and gone home.
We removed the handoff. The person who measures your room is on site while it's installed. If something isn't right, there is exactly one company to call, and we answer.
What that actually changes
- The subfloor gets tested before we quote, not discovered mid-job.
- Cabinets, counters and floor are sequenced in the right order, so nothing gets pulled back out.
- Change orders are rare, because the surprises were found during the measure.

When you don't need us
If your hardwood can be refinished instead of replaced, we'll say so — even though replacing it pays us more. A sand and refinish is usually a third of the cost of a new floor.
When the subfloor is the problem
A beautiful floor over a bad subfloor fails in two years and takes your money with it. We measure moisture and flatness and show you the readings, whatever they say.
When your material is wrong
Solid hardwood over a slab, marble in a house with toddlers, a floating floor pinned under a heavy island — we'll flag it before you buy, not after we install it.
Credentials
Paperwork you're entitled to see.
- Licensed, bonded and insured. Certificates supplied on request before work starts.
- Workers' compensation on every person who sets foot on your property. If someone is hurt in your house, it is not your problem.
- Written contracts with a fixed price, a start date and a finish date — as California law requires for home improvement work.
- Manufacturer warranties registered in your name and handed to you in writing at the walk-through.

Questions
Everything people ask us.
A cabinet and countertop installation in an existing kitchen usually runs 5 to 10 working days. A full remodel with demolition, flooring and backsplash is typically 3 to 5 weeks. Countertops add about 7–10 days on their own because the slab is templated after the cabinets are set, then fabricated off site.
Often, yes. Luxury vinyl and laminate can float over most hard, flat surfaces including tile and hardwood. We still test the subfloor for flatness and moisture first — if it fails, covering it only hides a problem you will pay for twice.
Only for the first morning walk-through and the final walk-through. Most clients give us a key or a lockbox code. You get a photo update at the end of each day either way.
Either. We have trade accounts and can pass the pricing through, or you buy your own and we install it. If you supply the material, we quote labour only and we'll tell you honestly if what you picked is the right product for the room.
A visit to your home, laser measurements of the space, a subfloor moisture and flatness check, and an itemised written quote with the timeline. There is no charge and no pressure, and the quote is yours to keep and compare.
Our workmanship is warrantied for five years. Materials carry their own manufacturer warranty, which we register for you and hand over in writing at the end of the job.
Less than you're picturing. We seal doorways with zip walls, run HEPA vacuum extraction on every saw and sander, paper the walk paths, and clean up daily. Refinishing is the dustiest task we do and even that is contained.
All of Los Angeles County — the San Fernando Valley, the Westside, Pasadena and everything in between. If you're outside the county, call us anyway and we'll tell you straight whether the drive makes sense for your job.
